We are delighted to announce that Artemis by Nomi Health was selected by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to play a key role within the AWS Health Equity Initiative. This initiative is part of AWS's multi-year commitment to support organizations working towards advancing health equity. The award recognizes Artemis for leveraging AWS and cloud technology to reduce inequities in care and enhance health outcomes by increasing access to health services, reducing disparities by addressing social determinants of health, and leveraging data to promote equitable and inclusive systems of care.
At the heart of this collaboration is Artemis SDOH Insights—a tool that uniquely empowers employers, brokers/consultants, health plans, and point solutions with the risk models and data insights they need to close health equity gaps more effectively. With over half (54.3%) of people in the US getting their insurance from their employer, Artemis’s approach through employers addresses health equity at scale.
“We are incredibly honored and appreciative of AWS’s generous support,” said Sanjay Motwani, President of Artemis Health. “This supercharges our efforts to enhance Artemis SDOH Insights, which is vital in helping our clients pinpoint areas of health risks and know where exactly they can deploy resources to drive health equity and better outcomes."
Artemis SDOH Insights is part of the core Artemis platform and leverages the power of AWS to tackle health disparities via employer-driven strategies. Our aim is to enhance our analytical capabilities so that we can deliver more powerful solutions that empower employers and their partners to lead the charge in achieving equitable health outcomes.
