Elevate 2018, Artemis’ first client conference, was a great opportunity for us. An opportunity to discuss what makes us passionate about data, an opportunity to get to know our clients better, and an opportunity to explore the future of our platform.
Here’s what made it so special.
Our attendees gathered at the St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah for the event. This stunning location is nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, steps from Park City’s historic Main Street. Alain Roy, VP of Customer Success, led morning hikes with our guests.
Others gathered for an in-depth User Experience discussion with Artemis VP of Product Chris Savoie and his team. These focus groups got a preview of new functionality and features, and shared their real-world experience using the Artemis Platform with our team. We’ll use their feedback to continually improve our product offerings.
The general session began with a fascinating look at a new era in healthcare: The Employer-Driven Era. Eric Parmenter of Collective Health shared his thoughts and expertise on how employers are creating change, demanding value, and negotiating costs more than ever before.
Current Artemis clients also shared their success stories on Day 1 sessions, including sessions on opioid addiction and behavioral health, prescription drug waste, and benefits strategy.
Shane Wolverton of Quantros gave a fascinating session on how employers are demanding and measuring provider quality. He said,
“We need to move to an adage of, ‘No Outcome-No Income’ when it comes to provider quality. I’ve worked with employers who put in quality measures with their provider networks. You have the power to do this type of work.”
In the afternoon, we were joined by special guest Shannon Bahrke Happe, U.S. Olympic Medalist. She led the group in an outdoor activity and shared her inspirational experiences as an athlete.
The evening took our group to Tupelo, a premier restaurant on Park City’s Main Street. Guests mingled, shared their thoughts from the day’s sessions, and enjoyed fine food and wine.
Our second day also began with hiking and User Experience sessions, as well as a wellness-focused session highlighting some of the healthcare issues facing benefits leaders. Clients spoke on mental health programming, population health, and unique data sources. One shared this quote:
“Most benefits teams are getting some data on financial trends, utilization, health status, and provider preference. But we want more, like care preference, personal behavior, employment profiles, and their experiences. Artemis is helping employers get more.”
Bryson Pope, Data Scientist at Artemis, shared his expertise with us and walked us through how to conduct a regression analysis and control for outliers in your data. His analysis showed how to go from “What did we find?” to “Why did this happen?”
We finished out Day 2 with a much-anticipated Product Roadmap session from Chris Savoie. He walked our attendees through what we’re working on behind the scenes, our plans for the next phase of product development, and key considerations that will impact the future of Artemis.
Here’s what some of this year’s attendees said about the Elevate experience:
“The overall experience was incredible. It was the perfect length, with very engaging content and speakers. Thank you!”
“Wonderful experience has me so excited to see our data in action at Artemis! Hope to be back for Elevate 2019!”
“Fantastic, inspiring event - thank you! Great meeting Artemis folks and especially other customers. Great topics as well!”
“I would definitely attend again. This was a great experience and Artemis is an awesome partner.”
We can’t wait for next year, when we can share the data love with even more of you. Thanks for contributing to our success!
